Job Title: P.M. Unassigned Makeup and Packaging Bake Shop Helper

Workday Grade Level: H003

Base Rate per Hour: $23 (range $23 - $26)

Shift: 2nd

Number of Openings: 1

Hours: Typically from 1:45 PM until end of shift, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Hours may vary based on production needs and holidays. Punctuality and attendance are required.

Job Summary

Responsibilities may include various makeup and packaging roles across lines, such as makeup helper, moulder operator, divider operator, oven operator, and more. Tasks involve product racks, quality checks, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating packaging machinery. Flexibility to assist other roles is expected.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong decision-making and communication skills; ability to exercise good judgment and resolve issues promptly.
• Food safety awareness, including HACCP, SOP, GMP, and JSA standards, with focus on contamination prevention, allergen control, and lot code traceability.
• Adherence to formula control and proper label management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and arms for manipulation, and lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 1500 lbs on wheels.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, temperature extremes, noise, forklift traffic, and wet conditions. Compliance with safety protocols and use of safety equipment are mandatory. Flexibility for overtime and changing environments is required.
