3:15 pm to 12:30 am Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed



SUMMARY:The Assembler/Packer position is responsible for assembling components per approved engineering drawings/packing filters, maintain 6S standards, while maintaining the quality of products by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Follow basic assembly/packing instructions, processes and procedures
  • Maintain process cycle time to keep pace with established standards
  • Consistently assemble / pack throughout work shift
  • Visually inspects filters for any defects
  • Must be willing to work on their feet for the entire shift
  • Report any issues, malfunction or defective parts to Group Leader
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Willing to cross train and work in in all production areas based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals while maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Daily/Weekly availability for overtime.
  • Cross-train in other positions within the facility based on business needs.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
  • Operate Pleater machine checking for correct slab size and quality
  • Operate production machinery
  • Support production Assembly as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of stable work history
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Ability to speak English effectively to management and employees of organization.
  • Simple math may be required including but not limited to the ability to use a measuring tape, multiplication of whole numbers, ability to use a calculator, work with fractions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for continuous periods of 4 hours.
  • The employee frequently is required to handle product and reach with hands and arms, repetitively throughout the shift.
  • The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
