Job summary

City Brewing Company in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate and maintain packaging machinery in our fast-paced facility. You will monitor lines, perform quality checks, troubleshoot basic issues, and uphold safety and sanitation protocols to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to pass post-offer drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the packaging line for consistent product flow and quality output.
• Inspect packaged products to ensure quality and labeling standards.
• Set up machines for daily production runs and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Load packaging materials into machines as needed.
• Record production data, including quantities, downtime and machine settings.
• Communicate with maintenance and supervisory staff regarding equipment issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in GMP and safety standards.
• Follow SOPs, PPE and company policies at all times.
• Support training of new operators as required.
