Job summary

City Brewing Company is seeking a Packaging Maintenance technician to ensure efficient, safe operations of high-speed packaging lines and conveying systems. You will repair, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and modify components to improve processes.

The role includes equipment changeovers, maintaining logs, and supporting project work while coordinating with maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a high-speed packaging environment preferred (food/beverage).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as Maximo, SAP, or Maintenance Connection.
• Willing to work multiple shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from Packaging Maintenance Leadership and perform assigned tasks.
• Perform preventive, emergency, and proactive maintenance on high-speed packaging lines.
• Communicate cross-departmentally to resolve equipment issues.
• Participate in shift change meetings and project work as needed.
• Document completion of assignments and maintain records.

Job Summary

The position is a key part of the facility's Packaging Maintenance team in ensuring efficient and safe equipment operations while responsible for completing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting emergency maintenance problems of all high-speed packaging production lines and conveying systems, fabrication, and modification of components to improve manufacturing processes, performing changeovers of equipment, and maintaining records, logs, and files as required. The ideal candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to follow the direction of the Packaging Maintenance Leadership team and perform tasks as assigned
• Perform preventive, emergency, and proactive maintenance activities
• Communicate cross-departmentally to resolve needed repairs to equipment
• Participate in shift change meetings
• Assist with project work including contributing to assessments, process evaluations, project timeline management, drawings, and vendor/contractor communication
• Complete all relevant paperwork required to document the completion of assignment
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in a high-speed packaging environment, food/beverage preferred
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience in any CMMS systems e.g. Maximo, SAP, or Maintenance Connection
• Selected candidates must be willing to work any shifts, weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business
