Job summary

Auto-Chlor System is hiring at the Atlanta plant in Hapeville, GA for a packaging operator. You will start up, operate and adjust packaging machines, ensure quality, and help move items to the stretch wrapper. The role includes basic maintenance, line fills, and adherence to safety rules.

Pay ranges from $18.50 to $20 per hour, with benefits after 30 days. Prior pallet handling, forklift experience, and mechanical aptitude are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in operation of packaging equipment.
• Pallet moving and forklift driving experience.
• Mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, attending, operating and adjusting various packaging machines.
• Move items to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustments and frequent checks.
• Observe all plant safety rules and keep work area clean.
• Fill in on packaging lines as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for start-up, attending,operatingand adjusting various packaging machines such as

Secures packaged items on pallets and when neededoperatespallet moving equipment to

moveitems to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper.

Maintains quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustments

and frequent quality checks.

Performs minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting and

preventative maintenance asrequired.

Responsible for equipment cleaning andmaintaininga clean work area andobservingall safety

regulations.

Fillsin on packaging lines as needed.

Observes all plant safety rules.

Required Skills/Abilities:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Previousexperience inoperationof packaging equipment.
