• Pay or shift range: $18.50 USD to $20 USD (estimated budgeted amount – final offers based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, and qualifications)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for start‑up, attending, operating and adjusting various packaging machines.
• Secures packaged items on pallets and, when needed, operates pallet‑moving equipment to move items to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper.
• Maintains quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustments and frequent quality checks.
• Performs minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as required.
• Responsible for equipment cleaning and maintaining a clean work area while observing all safety regulations.
• Fills in on packaging lines as needed.
• Observes all plant safety rules.

Required Skills/Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in operation of packaging equipment.
• Pallet moving and forklift driving experience.
• Mechanical ability.
