General Purpose
Run and maintain packaging equipment such as labelers, scales, conveyors, casers, stackers, coders, and related items safely and efficiently, focusing on material usage, product waste, sealing, coding, and weight control.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Order packaging materials (paper, poly, cartons) from storage as needed.
2. Visually inspect packaging for printing defects.
3. Ensure proper sizing and packaging of products.
4. Load materials onto machines promptly to avoid line stoppages.
5. Adjust equipment to meet product specifications.
6. Perform weight checks and make necessary adjustments.
7. Communicate issues or deviations to supervisors or maintenance.
8. Verify packaging, coding, and seals for compliance and make adjustments.
9. Use correct packaging materials for each product.
10. Operate wrapper machines, prevent jams, and avoid downtime.
11. Supply machines with correct materials and complete logbooks.
12. Accurately fill out all paperwork and documentation per SOPs.
13. Analyze process and equipment data for quality and throughput improvements.
14. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
15. Report food safety or quality issues immediately.
16. Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
17. Follow GMPs and all regulatory, safety, and sanitation standards.

Position details: 3rd Shift, starting at $23.46/hr, benefits after 60 days, 401K. Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification/license may be required during employment.
