Packaging Operator

Position Overview:

A Packaging Operator is an entry-level position responsible for general pharmaceutical production tasks in a lean manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspection and packaging of products, material handling, and setup of packaging lines with a focus on 'right first time' accuracy and efficiency. The role requires high attention to detail to ensure the delivery of quality products and accurate documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Good organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications are essential to maintain an orderly work environment. All activities are conducted within a safety-minded culture that emphasizes continuous improvement.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

Physical and Time Requirements:

• Routine lifting of 20-50 lbs.

• Flexible hours; overtime may be required
• Manual dexterity and ability to keep pace with production standards

Work Environment: Candidates must not be allergic to Cephalosporin/Penicillin. The role involves working near moving mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment, including eye protection, is required.

Shift: 3rd Shift: 9:45 pm - 6:15 am
