Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Production Department at Plant 3 in Gentry, AR. This role performs machine set-ups, changeovers, and operates packaging equipment to meet production schedules. You will keep codes legible, troubleshoot downtime, train new operators, enter data, and maintain cleanliness and safety.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to quality. Third shift Sundays to Thursdays, 10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Performs machine set-ups, changeovers, and operates equipment.
• Ensures all printed codes or labels are legible and correct with the production schedule.
• Troubleshoots as needed to identify and correct problems that may cause downtime and/or waste.
• Provides training to new or transferring Packaging Operators.
• Enters accurate data into computer.
• Performs daily and weekending clean up duties.
• Demonstrates workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values.
• Uses good communication skills to accomplish work tasks.
• Maintains good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy.
• Practices good personal hygiene and maintains a clean work area.
• Demonstrates a commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the safety of our products.

Pay

$20.47 - $23.82 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus $2.00 / hour premium for hours worked on 3rd shift
