Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking Packaging/Forklift Operators in Blair, NE to join a leading chemical manufacturer in a full-time, long-term capacity. As a Warehouse Operator, you will support daily warehouse operations, including forklift operations, material handling, and packaging, with 12-hour rotating day shifts.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, recording pallet counts, storing pallets, packaging products, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have forklift experience; warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License (required) (MVR check conducted)
• Basic computer skills
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow and understand all forklift safety requirements and pass site-specific certification
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to remove products from packaging lines.
• Accurately record pallet counts on production sheets.
• Store pallets in designated warehouse areas.
• Operate equipment to package products in totes and/or on pallets.
• Adjust and troubleshoot packaging machinery as needed.
• Identify and move damaged products to designated warehouse areas.
• Dump damaged bags into super sacks for reprocessing.
• Maintain daily safety, cleaning, and hygiene standards in the area
• Participate in quality-related activities and safety programs.
• Perform miscellaneous warehouse operations projects as needed.

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shifts, 7 a.m.- 7 p.m., with 2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off.

First week of training M-F 7:00-430
