Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a Production Team Lead in Danvers, MA to oversee final packaging and boxing operations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience in packaging, shipping/receiving, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of leadership and 2+ years in material handling or manufacturing operations, with familiarity of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and knowledge of GMP, GDP, and ISO

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of leadership experience.
• 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations and/or manufacturing operations.
• Solid understanding of ERP transactions (SAP or Oracle) and compliance with GMP, GDP, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs, forms, test methods and product specifications.
• Coordinate daily packaging tasks and team priorities with strong organizational communication.
• Promote safety culture by identifying hazards and filing EHS reports.
• Operate material handling equipment to support warehouse and picking operations.
• Use scales, testing tools and supplies to execute written and verbal instructions.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and drive box trucks as needed for material transport.
• Assist team with quality decisions and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Work independently under general supervision and take initiative on routine tasks.
