Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks an experienced Production Manager to supervise a manufacturing team in Kansas. You will ensure product quality, SOP adherence, and drive improvements in efficiency and cost control. Lead technicians, train staff, and coordinate with planning to meet targeted production schedules.

The role requires a chemistry or life-science background with 5+ years in manufacturing and proven leadership. Rotating 7AM–7:30PM schedule; base pay range reflected below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or life science discipline.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile filling and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production department activities to ensure quality and SOP compliance.
• Manage Production Technicians and provide training and feedback to staff.
• Identify and implement improvements in quality, productivity and cost.
• Coordinate with Production Planner to meet schedules and deploy resources.
