Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the production department, ensuring product quality and adherence to SOPs in a GMP environment. You will manage Production Technicians, provide coaching, and drive improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency while meeting schedules.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of manufacturing and supervisory experience, with knowledge of filtration, aseptic techniques, and packaging. On-site role in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or life science required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as filtration, aseptic technique, sterile filling, and/or product packaging.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production department activities to ensure quality and SOP compliance.
• Manage Production Technicians and provide guidance and training to staff.
• Develop systems to measure and control production cost, quality and efficiency; approve overtime.
• Audit staff and systems to ensure SOPs are current and followed.
• Coordinate with Production Planner to meet production schedules and resource needs.
