Job summary

The Goodkind Co in the Austin area is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of about 4 direct reports and 40+ indirects in filling and packaging. You will coordinate people, equipment, and materials to hit safety, quality, and output goals while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and other partners.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, and daily production leadership; driving improvements and ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO 22716 guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a production supervision/management role.
• Familiarity with GMP and ISO 22716 guidelines.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day filling and packaging production to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan staffing, equipment, materials, and resources based on demand and capacity.
• Supervise, hire, onboard, coach, train, and develop production staff; conduct reviews.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to resolve schedule interruptions and balance workloads.
• Lead daily production meetings and shift handoffs to review priorities and actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using 6S, Lean, Kaizen, and Gemba walks.
• Maintain safe work environment; enforce OSHA policies and training.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, yields, and losses; coordinate with Maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with procedures; maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Coordinate work using schedules, qualifications, and training requirements.
• Support budget planning and control labor, material usage, and costs.
• Foster employee engagement and teamwork through problem-solving and recognition.
