Job summary

The Goodkind Co. is seeking a Machine Operator to maintain production and quality on the packaging line. You will run filling and labeling equipment, perform changeovers, and support line goals in a 12-hour shift environment in Round Rock, TX.

You will complete line documentation, perform in-line quality checks, and collaborate with leads to meet production targets while adhering to GMP and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with laptops, iPads and tablets.
• Background in production assembly; cosmetic experience beneficial but not required.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven.
• Ability to multi-task and move quickly to keep the production line moving.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Availability for 12-hour shift window (10–12 hour shifts) and occasional weekend shifts if hired for Monday–Thursday.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support feeding, labeling, batching, cleaning and boxing on the production line using manual and automated equipment.
• Complete production documentation and ERP entries.
• Set up equipment and changeovers for product transitions (filling, labeling, shrink-wrapping).
• Perform inline quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Execute production functions: startups, yield counts, returns and rejects management.
• Document production reporting, scrap reporting and yield tracking in the ERP system.
• Participate in daily huddle to share feedback and align on daily expectations.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMP to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area including housekeeping tasks.
• Lead a team of production line employees by assigning daily tasks to support production goals.
