Job summary

Stratas Foods, LLC in Cordova, TN, and with facilities across the US, seeks a production supervisor to lead daily packaging operations and drive timely production while maintaining safety, GMP, and quality standards.

You will supervise teams, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with maintenance and leadership to optimize equipment and labor. Must ensure cost control and continuous improvement across shifts. Strong communication and safety focus required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing, preferably in food processing, packaging, or food safety; supervisory experience preferred.
• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet schedules, using labor and materials efficiently.
• Maintain safe, sanitary, and GMP-compliant work environment and promote safety programs.
• Supervise and develop team members, address performance issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, yields, and line performance; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, and leadership to optimize equipment and workflows.
• Communicate shift activities and results to plant leadership; support budget targets and cost control.
