Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Packaging Co-op in Atlanta to gain hands-on experience from design through manufacturing stages. You will participate in bid packages, drawings, and databases, while collaborating with clients and internal teams on packaging projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Mechanical/Packaging engineering, with CAD skills (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit) and strong time-management to meet shifting deadlines. This is a co-op opportunity in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Packaging or similar engineering
• Excellent computer skills, including 2D and 3D CAD
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to adjust to changing timelines while meeting deadlines
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal team skills

Responsibilities

• Bid packages
• Bid evaluations
• Drawing packages
• Specifications
• Prepare and maintain databases
• Assist in project schedule tracking, project accounting, and project status reporting
• Design packaging lines in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit
• Develop flow sheets, package and speed matrices
• Work on complex, automated packaging machinery
