Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Packaging Co-op in Atlanta to provide real-life experience from design to manufacturing. You will work on bid packages, drawings, specifications, and maintain databases while collaborating with team members and clients.

Projects involve AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit, with opportunities to interact at client facilities and assist in scheduling, reporting, and progress tracking in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Our Packaging team leads all aspects of the development process, from design to manufacturing to project management. Co-ops are given real-life responsibilities through involvement in various activities, initiatives, and exciting assignments with brand name clients. Packaging team co-ops will have a chance to interact with our clients at their manufacturing facilities. The projects vary in complexity and provide good exposure to a wide range of packaging materials and technologies.

Education/Experience

• Engineering Co-Op or Non-engineering College Graduate, preferable in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in an engineering support position preferred

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
