Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Mechanic for second shift in Chestnut Ridge, NY to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment. The role supports reliability improvements, equipment setup, and adherence to SOPs while minimizing downtime.

The Technician works with senior staff, learns cGMP procedures, and participates in team efforts to ensure efficiency, throughput, and quality. This is a full-time, on-site position with 12-hour shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required or related certification.
• 2-4 years related experience is acceptable depending on the candidate.
• Knowledge of cGMP, maintenance procedures, and reading blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on packaging equipment per SOPs.
• Assist troubleshooting of fillings, labeling, capping and palletizing equipment.
• Assist in set ups, cleaning, and startup of machines.
• Follow SOPs, lock-out/tag-out and PPE requirements.
• Attend production and maintenance meetings as required.
