Job summary

Link Snacks, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Maintenance Technician to keep packaging lines running and repair issues as they arise. The role covers a broad set of repair tasks in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include setting up lines, operating packaging equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring products are properly labeled and conform to specifications. This position requires strong hands-on skills and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SSOP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 1+ years of maintenance or mechanical field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic trades.

Responsibilities

• Set up lines correctly.
• Operate hand jacks.
• Packaging Machine operations.
• Boxing operations.
• Complete all daily preventative maintenance.
• Checkweigher operations.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, SOPs and SSOPs.
• Manage start-up to ensure equipment operates properly.
• Perform start-of-shift checks on product codes, labeling, and film.
• Follow production schedule and meet goals.
• Ensure products meet specifications and are labeled properly.
• Minimize rework and waste.
• Monitor workflow to maximize machine output.
• Keep records of products produced and materials used.
• Suggest improvements and continuously improve support activities.
• Tasks vary and are assigned by lead/supervisor.
