Job summary

Jack Link's is seeking a Packaging Maintenance Technician to keep packaging lines running and repair issues as they arise in our U.S. plant. You will perform a wide range of repair tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.

This role requires standing and walking most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a production environment with variable temperatures and loud noise. A training period of 4–12 weeks will help you learn the skills needed to run your machine,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• 1+ years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical field.

Responsibilities

• Set up lines correctly.
• Operate hand jacks.
• Packaging Machine operations.
• Boxing operations.
• Complete all daily preventative maintenance.
• Checkweigher operations.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SOPs and SSOPs.
• Assist start-up and ensure equipment is in proper operating condition.
• Perform start-of-shift checks and product labeling verifications.
• Monitor production schedule and achieve goals.
• Maintain accurate records of products produced and materials used.
