Job summary

USPL in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Packaging Operator to safely operate packaging equipment, perform setup, cleaning, and preventative maintenance, and participate in process improvement within a GMP environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of packaging experience in pharmaceutical or nutritional manufacturing, with knowledge of GMP and OSHA standards. 2nd shift available with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Minimum of one year work experience in packaging within nutritionals, supplements, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cGMP and OSHA standards is expected.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch records, SOPs and cGMP guidelines to ensure product specifications are met.
• Ensure product quality through inspection and sampling.
• Set up, operate, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Document all steps in batch records and operation logs accurately.
• Load/unload items and manage rejects and re-inspection as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment to maintain packaging specifications and resolve jams.
• Maintain a clean work area and proper gowning according to company policies.
• Assist with material handling and ensure safety and compliance.
