Job summary

City Brewery in Irwindale, CA seeks a Packaging Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dynamic maintenance team and drive reliability in a 24/7 facility. You will align maintenance with production, coach technicians, and optimize the CMMS to improve asset performance and parts planning.

The role requires strong communication, engineering background, and flexibility to work varied shifts, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely execution of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience coaching and managing a large team in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency using a CMMS to plan and track maintenance activities.
• Food and beverage manufacturing experience, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily/weekly direction to maintenance technicians, integrated with production schedules.
• Communicates cross-departmentally to coordinate maintenance and production work.
• Participates in the interview process and new hire onboarding.
• Performs employee reviews, training, coaching and discipline.
• Posts weekly schedule, using weekend sign-up sheets and vacation schedules.
• Manages the hourly vacation schedule.
• Develops and revises maintenance related SOPs.
• Engages in CMMS management including asset tree, PM optimization and parts tracking.
• Manages the backlog by scheduling work with parts and materials.
• Coaches technicians in using the CMMS and ensures work order closure.
