Job summary

Qualifications

• Auto CAD and Inventor experience required.

• Experience with designing packaging machinery and knowledge of assembly principles.
• Mathematics with engineering charts and precision measurement tools.
• Strong teamwork and ability to direct others.
• Ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature, and relationships of parts.
• Create multiple-view detail drawings using CAD equipment.
• Confer with engineering and sales on specifications and concepts.
• Prepare BOMs and revise drawings to reflect changes.
• Draft assembly, sub-assembly, and layout drawings for machines.
• Respond to questions from manufacturing personnel about drawings.
• Review project milestones weekly for timely execution.
• Complete other tasks assigned by Engineering Manager.
