Job summary

Amcor in Chino, CA, seeks a Downstream Machine Operator to perform repetitive production and packing of plastic bottles. You will follow safety policies, operate equipment, and work from a production schedule to ensure customer specifications are met.

Qualifications include basic math, ability to use a computer terminal, reading simple words, and the stamina to lift up to fifty pounds. Training, SOPs, and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or related training/experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a computer terminal.
• Ability to read simple words and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to meet specifications and stack products.
• Follow SOPs, JSA, and safety policies; wear PPE as directed.
• Input data into computer terminals and stage packaging materials.
• Inspect in-process and finished products for quality compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping, training of coworkers, and issue resolution as needed.
