Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Chino, CA is seeking a Chino Machine Operator Downstream to perform repetitive production and packing operations, mass processing plastic bottles and ensuring customer specifications are met.

You will follow safety policies, operate equipment, input data, monitor product flow, perform quality inspections and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This role is hourly and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to operate a computer terminal and input data.
• Must follow safety rules and SOPs during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as directed.
• Complete required training and assist in training coworkers.
• Operate production equipment to meet customer specs.
• Monitor product flow and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
• Input data to label and package finished product.
• Perform quality inspections of in-process and finished goods.
