Job summary

Pure’s Food Specialties, LLC. is seeking a production worker in Northlake, IL to operate and maintain packaging lines. The role requires flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts and the ability to stand for long periods, with occasional stairs or ladders.

You will monitor equipment, follow GMP and HACCP/SQF procedures, and work with other departments to ensure safe, high‑quality food production. Lifting up to 50 pounds and collaborating with the team are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining production line machines.
• Ability to communicate with others and management.
• Bilingual preferred; tracks performance data and communicates exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and monitor to ensure efficient operation.
• Work in flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Stand for full shift and climb steps/ladders as needed.
• Assist with upstream/downstream equipment to maintain continuous operation.
• Follow packaging schedule, quality control, sanitation, changeovers, and Best Buy dates.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist other departments when needed.
• Observe GMP, allergen procedures, HACCP and SQF requirements; attend training.
• Report all food safety and quality issues to supervisor immediately.
• Collaborate with team; share knowledge across functions.
• Support shift team per supervisor directives.
