Radienz Living in Commack, NY is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run packaging machines on pre-established line speeds, ensuring high quality finished goods and compliant labeling.

This full-time, on-site role requires basic math, English literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, loud production environment. Shifts include day/evening options with overtime as needed; compensation starts around $19.04 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED, desired.
• Prior working knowledge in a manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
• Basic math and command of English reading and writing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish desired.
• Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.
• Must be able to keep up with the line speed of machinery.
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, and/or working overtime during high demand.
• Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined procedures, safety rules and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and manage machines to perform at the desired, pre-established specifications.
• Ensure machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Provides direction to other line members and ensures smooth operation.
• Responsible for completing Packaging Filling Records.
• Visually inspect labels for defects and run samples.
• Record all machine actions by completing production logs.
• Produce High Quality finished goods (At All Times)
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Escalates quality, service, and equipment performance issues to supervision.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.
