Job summary

Morris Packaging is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our Jefferson City, MO facility. This role supports production, ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards in a climate-controlled environment.

The position requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and willingness to perform changeovers, with potential overtime based on demand. High school diploma and manufacturing experience preferred; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read US standard measuring tape.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently adjust machine components to produce products to specifications.
• Perform changeovers; change tooling and adjust machine components based on product specifications.
• Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature.
• Inspect product for quality and remove non-conforming items.
• Monitor the production line for malfunctions and report issues to a supervisor.
• Clean, oil, and minor repairs to machinery and equipment.
