Job summary

Fresh Express seeks a Packaging Machine Operator A to run packaging equipment, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include setting up machines, inspecting codes and seals, and performing routine maintenance.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, basic troubleshooting skills, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime. Training will be provided, and accuracy in documentation is essential.

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Operate all packaging machines efficiently.
On-the-floor training support.
Test new products with packaging technician.
Routinely solicit input & improve the process.
Assist other PMOs with their lines.
Make improvements to the process.
Set up & achieve 100% startup of packaging machines with no guidance.
Assure quality products are being produced.
Communicate and direct packers.
Finalize all required documentation.
Maintain and complete Clean, Inspect, Lubricate process.
Engage in one-on-one reviews.
Perform maintenance with mechanical troubleshooting.
Pass machine operator training classes per the Continuous Skills Development Program.
Work safely and follow basic safety rules to prevent accidents.
Pass Safety Training provided by the Continuous Skills Development Program.
