Pay Rate:

$30.12 / hour (+$1 shift differential)

Job Overview

Packaging Machine Operators are vital to our success at FritoLay. They are responsible for setting up and operating packaging machines and scales to produce quality packages efficiently. This role offers growth opportunities within FritoLay or PepsiCo.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate coding, weighing, and proper packaging.
2. Check product dating and sealing, minimizing waste.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery.
5. Wear protective gear during cleaning and sanitation.
6. Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
7. Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a 24-hour operation, involving physical work on your feet near heavy machinery in a loud environment. Conditions may vary with seasons and weather, and temperature control is limited.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
• Mechanical aptitude; 1+ year experience in high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, and stretch for extended periods.
• Basic math skills; proficient in English reading and writing.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
