About the Role

Our Molding Machine Operator 2nd shift is an entry-level position in the Molding Department where the candidate learns about all aspects of the injection molding process. The specific responsibilities include:

• Basic molding machine setup
• Confirming proper material use, per BOMs
• Material drying and loading
• Performing inspection of work produced to ensure quality
• Machine maintenance as required
• Keeping equipment and work area clean
• Counting and progressing work into stock
• Regrinding material as required
• Performing SPC data collection
• Observing department procedures
• Running insert molded jobs as needed
• Managing raw material to prevent contamination
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of raw material storage
• Assisting with other related duties as required or assigned
