Position Title: Machine Operator

Wage: $18.50/Hour

Shift: 3rd Shift

Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday)

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

1. Follow SOPs for setup, changeover, and shutdown procedures.
2. Maintain candy quality by managing machine variations, material levels, temperature, and product quality.
3. Operate the machine at the proper speed as directed by supervisor or lead.
4. Perform duties from SOPs independently and in a timely manner.
5. Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve them independently.
6. Lead equipment line positions as necessary or directed.
7. Review production schedule daily and set up equipment accordingly.
8. Follow GMP and safety rules; demonstrate commitment to food safety and continuous improvement.
9. Maintain a clean work area.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Machine Operator:

1. Ability to stand for entire shift.
2. Ability to reach with hands and arms.
3. Ability to grasp, handle, and feel with hands.
4. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, tasting, or smelling.
5. Visual abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and focus.
6. Tolerance to cornstarch dust present in the air and on surfaces.
7. Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
