Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator to safely operate production machines, perform setup and cleanup, and contribute to continuous improvements to meet customer demand.

You will follow GMPs, adhere to safety rules, and help maintain quality by catching defects early, while supporting teammates and participating in plant safety initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing or packaging industry experience is a plus.
• May require a current lift truck license.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely; set up, run, and clean equipment daily.
• Follow GMPs and Pratt Industries safety rules; participate in safety committees.
• Maintain high quality, stop defects from leaving the plant; attention to detail.
• Improve setup times and reduce downtime; report mechanical concerns promptly.
• Keep workstation clean; follow good housekeeping practices and 5S standards.
• Complete production data and status reports accurately and on time.
• Cross-train on other machines; assist and train junior operators as needed.
