Pratt Industries in Vandalia, OH is seeking a responsible production operator to safely run paper bag machines, perform setup, operate equipment, inspect quality, and assist with improvements to meet customer demand.

This role requires basic reading and math skills, a high school diploma or GED, and up to 6 months of manufacturing experience. You will be expected to maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while supporting continuous production.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in the packaging industry; paper, plastics, converting.
• 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Operate paper bag machines safely and perform setup, operation, quality checks, and cleanup.
• Follow Pratt Industries safety rules and GMPs at all times and participate in safety activities.
• Adjust machines and perform maintenance tasks; use touch screen controls as required.
• Support start-up operations by preparing rolls, ink, and other materials for production.
• Perform first bag out quality checks and ongoing inspections to ensure product meets standards.
