Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator in Kentucky to safely operate packaging production machines, perform setup, cleanup, and contribute to process improvements to meet customer demand.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with preferred packaging industry experience and 6 months in manufacturing. OT may be required; plant safety and GMPs are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely and follow all safety rules.
• Perform setup, operation, cleaning, and minor maintenance as needed.
• Ensure quality, follow GMPs, and stop defective product from leaving the facility.
• Meet production schedules and help optimize setup times and downtime.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and participate in safety committees.
