Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator, RHSB for entry-level production on our Sparta, TN line. You will pack, inspect, label, and prepare bottles for shipment while following safety and quality standards. You’ll rotate among machines, select correct box sizes, and use a tape gun and scanner to process items along the line.

The role emphasizes safety, basic computer use, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months packing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Basic computer and scanning skills required.
• Willingness to rotate tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and work around production equipment.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Rotate between machines and packing styles as needed.
• Select the correct box size for each product run.
• Assemble boxes using a tape gun.
• Scan required items accurately.
• Line up 6-9 assembled boxes at the machine without blocking aisles or exits.
• Verify whether the order requires caps and pack liners/caps accordingly.
• Place completed boxes onto the conveyor.
• Inspect product samples for defects and report issues.
