Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is hiring an entry level Machine Operator, RHSB to run and support Reheat Stretch Blow machines. You will primarily pack, inspect, label, and prepare bottles for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic PPE usage and collaboration with production teams on a 12-hour shift. No prior experience required beyond six months in packing or machine operation; opportunities for growth exist within a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of packing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Basic computer and scanning skills.
• Willingness to rotate tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment and machinery.
• Wear PPE at all times and maintain work area cleanliness.
• Rotate between machines and packing styles as needed.
• Select appropriate box sizes and assemble boxes for shipments.
• Label and seal completed boxes and ensure correct labeling.
• Inspect products for defects and report issues promptly.
