Job summary

Amcor in Appleton is seeking a Machine Operator to run packaging lines, maintain safety, and ensure product quality. You will support setups, perform QA checks, and use RF scanning for inventory control.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, 12-hour shifts, and a focus on safety and efficiency. We offer a competitive starting pay of $27.04–$28.80 per hour, full benefits from day one, 401(k) match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in machine operation.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Support machine setups and line clearances; assist with packing automation and tool changes.
• Perform quality checks and adjust as needed; replace defective product.
• Use a computer program to ensure specifications, labels, and materials match.
• Follow packing specs to pack, wrap, and label product; scan into inventory with RF scanner.
• Maintain a clean facility by following a 5S schedule; participate in GMP and PPE policies.
