Job summary

Amcor - Appleton is looking for a Machine Assistant to support packaging production on a 12-hour night shift. You will act as a safety leader, ensure quality, and assist with data entry and paperwork while maintaining a clean, compliant workstation.

You will join a team focused on continuous improvement, following 5S and cross-training across departments. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Read and comprehend production order specifications and customer order requirements.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Perform quality assurance checks and flag defective material.
• Input accurate data into our computer systems using Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Keep the facility clean by following a 5S schedule and participate in initiatives.
• Cross train in departments and on machines as needed.
