Packaging Machine Operator

Shift Details : (Sunday – Wednesday) 8PM – 6AM
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - $18.50/hr
Contract to Hire role

JD:

• The Packaging Operator I role is the entry level role at the Mt. Vernon facility.
• This role is responsible for packaging, cleaning, and relieving for breaks. This role will primarily work in the production area.

Job Responsibilities

• Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth.
• Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods.
• Performs general cleanup duties in designated areas (including, but not limited to, sweeping floor, blowing down the line/robot, cleaning break rooms, etc.).
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes.
• Perform special needs as determined by plant staff.
• Participates in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.

Preferred experience:

• 1 – 3 years manufacturing experience.
