Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a role in our corrugated packaging operations. You will monitor packaging output, assist team members, and complete required safety and production reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Set up rails, print, and die cut sections on Flexo using proper setup techniques.
• Inspect dies before and after runs and arrange repairs if needed.
• Ensure bolts for cutting dies are secure.
• Monitor box quality: loose liner, warp, size, print; check rolls for damage.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Assist other operators and utility with machine tasks.
• Complete reports: Production Data, Machine status, Safety, Quality data.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Complete annual food packaging safety training and report risks.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to the production schedule and flag scheduling issues to supervision.
