Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. is hiring an entry-level production operator for the Solon, OH facility. The role supports the line by loading bottles, performing minor set-ups, and ensuring safety and quality standards on a 3 PM – 11 PM, Monday to Friday shift.

You will assist on packaging equipment, maintain logs, train temporary workers, and participate in housekeeping and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.
• Must have the ability to perform simple math calculations and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assists the lead operators on production line equipment while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards.
• Performs minor set-ups, cleaning, and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Ability to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.
• Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
• Other duties as assigned.
