Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Line Mechanic C to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging machinery on our production lines in a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Colorado.

You will perform set-ups, changeovers, routine maintenance, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. Working with cross-functional teams, you will train operators, log line activity, and identify root causes of equipment failures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical certs; 2 years experience as packaging line mechanic.
• Experience with packaging equipment changeovers and maintenance.
• Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Change over, maintain, and repair packaging machinery within required timeframe.
• Notify management promptly of issues that could halt lines or reduce efficiency.
• Maintain line logs; train operators, line technicians, and line leaders on packaging equipment.
• Run at least two types of lines (Dental, AP/DEO, Nair, Household, Display, Aerosol).
• Receive ongoing training and demonstrate 3-step assessments throughout the year.
• Perform preventative maintenance; troubleshoot breakdowns; identify root causes.
• Set up and changeovers; document with work orders in SAP.
• Keep packaging line equipment running efficiently and safe.
