Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Line Mechanic C to maintain and repair packaging machinery on production lines in a manufacturing facility.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime while following GMP, SOPs and safety protocols. The role requires handling multiple line types, training staff, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required, plus relevant vocational/technical schooling.
• At least 2 years of packaging line mechanic experience in food/cosmetic/pharma facility.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and tool-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Change over, maintain and repair packaging machinery within required timeframes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain line logs and conduct routine set-ups and changeovers.
• Train Operators and Line Technicians on packaging equipment operations.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
