Job summary

L’Oréal Operations seeks a Packaging Mechanic to maintain and improve packaging lines at our Florence, KY facility. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and drive TPM initiatives to minimize downtime while upholding our quality and safety standards.

Applicants should have 3+ years in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, experience with preventative maintenance, and the ability to work in a team on industrial machinery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting or equivalent education/trainings/certifications with at least 1 year experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
• Basic understanding of electricity and motor controls
• Understanding of machine safety standards and best practices
• Experience with preventative maintenance and industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate status of equipment and action plans with supervisors and peers
• Maintain and document work in asset management systems
• Lead TPM initiatives and line-improvement efforts
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams as part of repair activity
• Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including parts replacement and adjustments
• Organize and maintain technical documentation for equipment
