In this hands-on role, you will ensure optimal machinery performance through preventative maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience with shop tools. A commitment to safety and continuous improvement is essential. This position is on-site and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
• Must have practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-owned machinery and equipment.
• Perform on-call emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with machine operators.
• Execute a plan for machine safety and housekeeping.

Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical machinery

Ability to use shop tools and equipment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

Good written and oral communication

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Electrical certification (preferred)

Experience in corrugated packaging industry (a plus)
