Job summary

L'Oréal Franklin, NJ is seeking a Packaging Operator for the Weekend Night shift (Fri-Sun, 6:45PM–6:45AM). You will manage the total operation of packaging lines, perform quality control, set up lines, and train trainees as needed, ensuring GMP compliance and smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in production areas and with packaging machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long hours and perform repetitive movements.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to work off shifts and overtime.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Total operation of manual, semiautomatic and automatic packaging lines and powder presses, including quality control, material procurement, line setup and adjustments.
• Train Packaging employees and ensure procedures are followed for smooth production flow.
• Maintain GMPs, sanitation, safety, and housekeeping in the packaging area.
• Coordinate movement of incoming components and finished goods to staging areas.
• Perform duties of a Packaging Operator and assist in inventory controls.
