Job summary

Packaging Operator, 2nd Shift (3:00PM – 11:10PM) at L'Oréal in Franklin, NJ, oversees the total operation of packaging lines, including line setup, quality control, and maintenance. The role involves training, coordinating with supervision, and ensuring GMP-compliant procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Must wear PPE.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Capable of repeated bending, lifting and standing for long hours.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work off shifts, including overtime.
• High School education or GED equivalency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, semiautomatic and automatic packaging lines.
• Oversee powder presses; quality control; material procurement; line setup and adjustment.
• Train Packaging employees and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Maintain smooth production flow and housekeeping in the work area.
• Coordinate with supervision and maintain records.
