Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Line Attendant to support cheese packaging operations. You will set up equipment, generate pallet tickets, and verify codes and labels to ensure correct product packaging.

The role requires attention to GMP and safety, with quality checks and lab sampling as part of daily tasks. The position is in a manufacturing environment; the candidate should be able to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Computer experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up all equipment and supplies for packaging operations.
• Generate and document computer pallet tickets.
• Read codes, labels, and packaging to ensure correct cheese and vats.
• Perform quality checks on film, code dates, metal detectors and tare weight.
• Take product samples to the lab for testing purposes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area in GMP-compliant manner.
• Report issues related to GMP, quality, safety to supervisor on duty.
